Why Organizing for Health!™?
Are you struggling to improve your health? |
|
Are you trying to follow a special diet such as low-salt, sugar-free or gluten-free and find you keep going off plan? |
|
Are you suffering from extreme stress or find it excruciatingly difficult to set up the structure you know you need? |
If you find it difficult to make the lifestyle changes needed to lose weight, eat healthy, sleep better, manage ADD / ADHD symptoms, follow a special diet, improve diabetes, lower cholesterol, minimize headaches, lower blood pressure, reduce food allergies, sleep well, you aren't alone. These health goals are a challenge for anyone. But if you also suffer from chronic disorganization, ADD / ADHD, depression, or other stress-related syndromes such as chronic fatigue syndrome, it's nearly impossible to achieve better health on your own.

"Making Peace with The Things in Your Life"
WHY ORGANIZING FOR HEALTH IS SO IMPORTANT!
Your home is actually an extension of your body. Consequently, the order of your home is a reflection of your physical, mental & spiritual health.
It’s nearly impossible to achieve health goals if your home is not supporting you!
It’s often easier to heal and get healthy if you start by taking positive action to get your home in order and then create the systems you need to make your goals a reality!
Dealing with the "things" in your life and home helps you:
- Reduce negative energy drains
- Eliminate items from your past that are holding you back and don't contribute to your health
- Make room for items and activities that DO serve you!
"It's a lot easier and faster to change your home than to change your health! And by changing your home in the right ways, you CAN also improve your health."
By changing the right things in your home, it becomes much easier to change habits and improve your health! I have personally seen and experienced DRAMATIC changes in energy and habits caused by reorganizing my home and my clients' homes.
My ADD / ADHD and creative clients start to eat better, sleep better, improve their mood, lower their stress and experience an overall increase in happiness, self-confidence and self-esteem. Organizing for health empowers them to conquer even greater challenges.
Improving Your Health Requires Healthy Eating Habits
Everyone knows you're supposed to eat healthy.
- We know junk food is bad for us.
Yet we still eat it and even feed it to our kids. Why? Because habits can be incredibly hard to change. And it's overwhelming to even think about reorganizing and restructuring the way you shop, eat, and cook all by yourself.
- We know it's healthier to eat a variety of unprocessed foods, and to cut back on sugar, salt, soft drinks, and "white starchy foods".
- We know we should drink lots of water, sleep regularly, and get plenty of activity, etc.
Why don't we do all these things? For many reasons. One reason is because we haven't organized our lives to make it it happen.

Letting go of Clutter Food™
In my work and in my life, I've found that by organizing and learning to let go of clutter in your home, it becomes easier to let go of "Clutter Food™" as well!
I have researched and applied all my organizing skills to design a way to make my kitchen, my home and my life support me in eating the way I want to eat.

Getting Quality Sleep
Did you know that the consequences of "chronic" lack of sleep and sleep aid use can be devastating to your health?
Did you know that chronic lack of sleep aggravates and/or can even cause:
- ADD-like symptoms such as distractibility and impulsivity?
- depression?
- negative attitudes?
- difficulty dealing with stress?
- poor school and job performance?
- chronic fatigue?
- muscle pain?
- loss of immune function?
- obesity?
- increased risk taking behavior?
- increased self-medication and risk of addiction?
- difficulty managing emotions?
- difficulty making decisions?
- difficulty organizing?
- accidents?
- difficulty learning?
- poor memory?
